hi guys! this is a comic i made for a final in my comics in literature class. we had to do a research paper on a topic we’d discussed in class and then accompany it with a comic with a relevant subject. my paper was about hyper-sexualization of women in comic books, but i decided to broaden it out here as well as personalize it and make myself the subject and discuss something i’ve been subjected to in the convention circuit and on the internet as well as thousands of other women, as well as give a cue to thought about how the comic book industry as well as the video game industry and even just media in general (all of which are male dominated) push such ridiculous pressures onto girls and women.

also, it feels kind of silly to have to add this since i hope it’s obvious, but i am very aware that there are men that don’t subscribe to this attitude, and am incredibly grateful that these issues are brought to light to people other than the ones that are subjected to it.

anyway haha i have literally been staring at this for 9 hours i don’t even know which direction is up anymore. thanks for reading!!!

Guess that’s it, then. Unohana is gone while Zaraki is alive. :I

I feel sadden that he didn’t really call out her name, instead he just said ‘Don’t die’ like a kid. Eh, I guess he just cared about her as a strong fighter, not a lover (or potential lover).

So I didn’t really have a strong emotion for it when he was sad of what he’d done, however I did get teary eyed when he held her. Kenuno shipper kicked in and I told a friend I would probably cry if he held her if he manage to kill her ~~(Then whispers sweet things in her ear, telling her how much he loves her)~~. .

Oh look, his sword is speaking to him finally. Worst timing if you’re a shipper. Probably a GREAT timing for those who are not shipping the two or don’t care about the pairing.

So now Kenpachi earn his title, Ichigo and the others are training to fight the bad guys. Though Ichigo seem to be having trouble… okay then.

I’m sure the crew will defeat the bad guys. It would be a sad ending or a happy ending once the manga is finish. Seeing how Kubo enjoys killing pairings off like they were meant to be but cruel faith says otherwise. Most likely a sad ending. Ichiruki shipper here.

Or everyone JUST dies. legit.

If she fully dies, RIP Unohana, its been the best 7-9 years of my life, waiting and supporting you and also believing that you were indeed special and different. I always been a KenUno fan ever since you two appeared back when Ichigo went to save Rukia. I don’t know if it was a best way for you to go but if you’re happy that you died by the hands of the man you ‘loved’. (Sounds terrible if you think about it.) then I guess I’m happy too. *raises eyebrows*

Why did I make that ‘you’ instead ‘she’ as if I was directing that bit to her? IDK!

Ah well. I guess I’m going to try to follow the manga again though hopefully I see some Soi fong and Yoruichi action (In more ways than one) later on in the manga before it ends. And for Kenpachi uses his sword as he should.

That could make me happy.
