What if Asami Sato is really a lesbian who is still in the closet but she is showing a bit more since Korra is around. 

Could be why not many still trust her or feel off about her. Or the creators are messing with us in a horrible way. 

(BTW I’ve been heavily influenced by the constant blogging/fictions of KorrAsami but I already liked the thought of the pairing way before the huge posts on Tumblr.)
